- General Manager
- Hello, I am Mainer at heart, hardworking, passionate and driven to give back to my community. I was born in Bar Harbor and grew up in Ellsworth, Maine with strong ties to the fishing industry. My father is a 50 year lobster fisherman and boat builder. I love this community and everything it represents, I stayed in this area my whole life and proudly began my career at Darling's Automall in January of 1995 as Business Manager. In this position my customers were everything and so I received Finance and Insurance training from Universal Underwriters Group in September of the same year.I continued to provide a first class customer experience based on building a solid reputation with many banks, credit unions and finance companies which allowed me to advocate for my customers. My passion grew and I was promoted to General Sales Manager in 2014. Two years later in January of 2016 I was promoted again to Assistant General Manager. In this position I'm continuing my education to better serve my customers taking part in a 4 day comprehensive Cardone Training Seminar and am enrolled in the National Automobile Dealers Association Academy. Both of these trainings will allow me to become better educated within all aspects of the dealership to better serve my customers, and be on top of industry trends. It's so important for me to put my best foot forward to give back to my community. On my off time home is my happy place. My home includes my husband, Todd, two horses and two dogs. We enjoy our time in the Moosehead Lake Region and Toddy Pond where we camp, boat and ride our bikes. I am also a proud mom to two grown children and "Mimi" to two beautiful grandbabies who are 3 and 1 years old!Working for Darling's I've found the difference is always making the customer top priority, treating them how I would want to be treated. Please feel free to reach out to me anytime because YOU are #1 in my book!

- I am a man who always has the glass half full and wakes up most days with a smile. I grew up in Ellsworth, Maine. After graduating like every great young kid I wanted to become a radio personality. The life of a radio man wasn't what my future held as I began my next journey as a salesman for Morrison's Chevrolet in 1993. I flourished at Morrison's moving up to an F&I Manager and ultimately a sales manger in 2014. I loved my work and my life, but I was missing something in my world. I met my amazing wife, Camille, in 2008 and married her in 2010, I couldn't let this one get away. We've grown our lives together and I couldn't be happier. My hard work paid off and was promoted to General Sales Manager in 2019.At home we have 3 dogs, Max, Lexi, and Beatrice. Together we relax at home or on the boat at Beech Hill Pond. Camille and I also enjoy sight seeing around the area while riding our motorcycles. Outside home and work life I take great pride in my community serving as a local Shriner since 1996 and and active mason for Lygonea Lodge #40 since 1994. I'm proud to have become a Senior Decon in the Masons.ÂEvery morning I'm lucky enough to walk into work with a smile because I love my job. Darling's takes great care of our employees and most importantly our customers. This makes it easy to come into work knowing I am making a difference, the Darling's difference. Feel free to reach out to me anytime.

- The beauty of Downeast Maine has drawn my family for generations. I grew up in East Hampton, CT and moved with my family to Hancock, Maine in 1974. My grandfather and my family would vacation here, so it was only fitting for my grandfather to settle here after his retirement from GM. My family followed in the move and I became an official Mainer. I hiked, fished swam, ran and explored the area and promised myself never to leave. I went to school for electronics at EMCC and soon found the closest job in this field was in New Hampshire. I made the decision to keep to my promise and stay local. I worked various jobs from Bartender to Banker and eventually found I job I loved with Cars at Morrison's Chevrolet in 1987. It seemed only fitting to take the job with my love of cars and inspiration from a grandfather at GM and a father with a passion for car shows. I worked just about every job there from rental to becoming Sales Manager in 1999.In 2017 I proudly moved from my time at Chevy to Sales Manager at Darling's Automall. Amidst all of this I found my beautiful wife, a local girl all grown up. Lona and I were married and now have an awesome son named Lucas. We built our dream home on Donnell's Pond in Franklin and live an adventurous and wonderful Downeast life. Living on the water we love spending time exploring wether hiking, fishing, kayaking, biking or running. When I'm not at home I give back to this community as much as possible. I remember growing up and seeing local businessmen caring for the community by volunteering and coaching and so at 19 I started to do the same. I started by coaching soccer at the YMCA. Today I'm on countless committees and local boards doing as much as I can to support the community. Some of my favorite involvement is with the Chamber Board on the Finance and Executive Committee, The Board of Acadia Fire, The Chef's Gala Committee and the Schoodic Scramble Committee which are both fundraisers for Maine Coast Memorial Hospital . With what time is left in my world I enjoy relaxing with fitness including running, tennis, skiing and golf. In my younger years I proudly ran the Boston Marathon and the Run to Home Base in Boston.Everything I do at home or at the office is to better the world around me. I'm proud of this community and want to see it flourish for generations. Darling's community giveback fits so well with this and I'm proud to work here. I know the work I do everyday helps my friends and neighbors, and for that I am grateful. Please feel free to reach out if you need anything.

- Finance/Sales Manager
- I am a finance man by profession and a creative outside the office. My story begins in Sedgwick, Maine where I was born and raised. After graduating I studied business administration and investment services at New England College of Business and the University of Maine. My degree led me to a job as a teller in 2006 at Bangor Savings Bank and leaving in 2012 as part of the wealth management group. I needed a new adventure and started at Darling's Chevrolet shortly after as a salesman. Two and a half years later I started as a finance manager and haven't looked back.My world outside the office is filled with creativity, love and adventure. My wife, Victoria, and I enjoy adventuring with our two children at the beach on Patten Pond. My wife has gotten me into hunting and fishing, something I never thought I would enjoy. I've always had a creative side enjoying music, art, and freelancing as a web guy. My love for music is proudly shared as the music director for Eggemoggin Baptist Church. Something I most enjoy is helping others, a quality that fits well with my job.Darling's is a company that cares for its employees and customers. - Office Manager
- My story began in Eastbrook, Maine. I was born and raised here and eventually found my way to a temp job at Darling's in January of 2003 as a Receptionist. Not long after I was hired full time as Office Manager.I now live in Ellsworth with my two dogs and two chickens. The dogs, Silas and Charlie, were both rescues and have found their forever happy place at my home. When I'm not at home I can be found at Crossfit Breakwater or beaching it anywhere there is water. Crossfit has been a great driver for me to progress quickly at the gym and take out a bit of my competitive nature, it was one of those things I'd always wanted to do but was scared. Once I had the courage to take the first step it was an instant love. I can weirdly enough say I love burpees. At the dealership I tend to be known as the woman with the answers. I try and facilitate a good flow of information to make sure everything runs smoothly. I enjoy giving back to the community by facilitating bi-annual blood drives at the dealership. I've been here for many years and consider Darling's part of my family, down to earth and incredibly caring. I would love to try and answer any questions you may have, I may not always have the answer but I will do my best to figure it out.

- I am a proud Mainer born and raised in Skowhegan. After falling in love with my one and only Sheri at Husson University, we started our lives together in the Bangor area. Sheri worked as an Administrative Assistant for the ROTC at the University of Maine. While I started working at North Country Management Group DBA Burger King, beginning as a restaurant manager and eventually Director of Operations for eight Burger Kings in Maine. These locations included Caribou, Presque Isle, Houlton, Calais, Ellsworth, Rockland, Bangor and Orono, Maine. During this time we raised two incredible children, Christopher and Brittany. Christopher now works as an Assistant Chief Engineer at NASA and Brittany is Critical Care Nurse at George Washington University Hospital in Washington D.C. Needless to say, we're incredibly proud of our kiddos! After 35 years working for Burger King I decided to finally land my dream job as a car salesman. I started on Oct, 12th 2014 and have never looked back!I truly love this company and my customers. The Darling's organization is like no other. The Darling's family go out of their way to make every employee feel appreciated starting day one. This appreciation shines through to the customers. My customers are my favorite part of this job. I'm proud to say my customers have given me positive reviews for three years and growing on dealerrater.com. This means I am a certified employee with dealer rater with a 100% satisfaction rate!! I LOVE my customers and believe each person has their own story to share. The best part of my job is being able to listen to each customers story to find the perfect vehicle to continue their life story.Outside the dealership my life story revolves around my family. My wife and I enjoy our tradition of a two mile walk each day. We also continue to share our love of traveling with various cruises since the early 1980's, always to somewhere warm! When I'm not spending time with my family I enjoy giving back to my community. I am a proud Extraordinaire Minister for twenty eight years at St. Paul the Apostle Parish. In my career I've had the pleasure of also working on various school, parish and chamber boards. Most importantly though is my support for cancer research, something most everyone can relate to.Please feel free to reach out to me anytime and I look forward to sharing your story!

- I'm a born downeaster from East Machias, Maine. I grew up with a competitive spirit and went to college at the University of Maine for Physical Education and Health. After graduating I wanted to explore and found a job as a Stock Broker in Atlanta, Georgia. After a few years of city life I wanted to be back near home and became a financial planner in Portland, Maine. This was still a little too far from home and eventually moved back downeast as a Phys Ed teacher in Jonesport as well as a real estate agent. In 2011 I needed a change and was encouraged to put my competitive nature to good use as a Sales Representative at Darling's. I started in 2011 and have loved every minute of it since then.Outside of the dealership my world revolves around my family and outdoors. My wonderful wife Kara and I were married in 2009 and now have two children, a boy and a girl. We also have two furry family members our little puggles, Buddy and Brownie. Family time is our favorite, whether fishing, kayaking, traveling or cheering on the Boston Red Sox. Our camp on Holbrook Pond is where some of our favorite family memories are made every year.Everyday at the dealership is different and this is why I love it here. The management cares and helps grow and train me and my fellow coworkers. It's this training that allows me to give the best experience to my customers. It's more than a vehicle sale, it's about the customer finding something to keep their story going. I most enjoy the happiness found in first time car buyers or finding a vehicle that a customer didn't think was even possible. Please feel free to reach out to me anytime.

- I am an East Machias born and raised Downeaster. I always had a passion for automative and trained at Northern Maine Vocational Technical Institute for Automotive Technology in Presque Isle, Maine. I was lucky enough to find a job close to home as an Automotive Tech at Morrison's Chevrolet in Ellsworth. That was about 30 years ago and the name on the door may be Darling's now, but the roots remain the same. I spent about 11 years as a tech and was asked to grow as Shop Foreman and eventually Service Manager.I take great pride in giving back to my community to ensure the next generation is successful. In my career I've been on many vocational advisory boards for High Schools and Colleges in Maine and even New Hampshire, including EMCC. I do this to be sure vocational training is kept in schools and to train those that come after me correctly to be successful in their careers.Outside the vocational world I also enjoy my work with the Lion's Club of Ellsworth and The Anah Temple Shriners of Bangor. I've been involved in both organizations for about 20 years now. For both organizations it is giving back to the community and the kids that makes it all worth it.My wife, Terri and I grew our lives together about 25 years ago. We have a beautiful daughter, Victoria who has grown into a smart hardworking young woman. She now works in the big city of Portland as a Personal Trainer, College Volleyball Coach and Dog Walker. She's following her passion for sports after graduating from St. Josephs's College and I could not be more proud.I take great pride in the people I work with every day, as everyone is special and deserves to be treated as so. Beyond the techs and the vehicles my job is about the people that walk in the door everyday. Everyone who walks in deserves to be respected and heard, that is my goal. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me anytime and I will do everything I can to help you with your vehicle.

- I was born and raised in central Connecticut. After graduation, I attended Bryant College in Rhode Island and the University of South Carolina. My career focus has been the automotive industry, working with dealer groups in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Maine. My background is in service, collision, and fixed-ops. I am also ASE certified, I-Car platinum, and OE certified by Porsche, Audi, Toyota, Lexus, Honda, and Acura. Bangor, Maine always had a special place in my heart as my parents were born here. The move to Maine was a great way to become closer to family. I was proud to find my second home at Darling's in 2019.Ellsworth is my home, where I live with my wife, our three dogs, many cats, and a horse. I have two grown children, who I proudly coached in many sports. Outside the office, I enjoy volunteering with the Special Olympics and the Boys and Girls Clubs.ÂThe Darling's difference to me is the people. I work with the greatest team whose goal is to provide the best customer experience. It is more than selling parts; it's ensuring people are safe on the road. Feel free to reach out for the best parts experience.

- Lead Counter Person
- Automobiles are in my blood. I was born in Cherryfield until my family moved to Lamoine, Maine. I grew up in the auto industry with a loving family of car painters. I landed a job painting cars for awhile in my early years. About 30 years ago I changed it up and moved to a Parts Counter Person in Ellsworth.Though buildings and dealerships have changed since I started, from Linnehan's, to Dow Motors, Triangle Automotive and Darling's one thing has stayed the same, the people. I've been pretty lucky to work with such great people and customers in Ellsworth. One brand I can count on in GM and Chrysler, I'm proud to be certified in GM and Chrysler to provide quality parts to people. Most of the time I focus on selling wholesale parts to collision shops all over.On my off time I like to spend time with the most friendly cat in the world, Mabel, named after my mother. I'm also an active supporter of Relay For Life. Everyone has someone they know who has been effected by cancer, me too. For about 10 years I've participated in Relay for Life and helped raise about $25,000 for cancer research, that's one proud Mabel. I also enjoy riding my motorcycle and going upta my family camp at Schoodic. Since about the 60's my family has known how to relax with no electricity and an outhouse, just nature. When I'm not feeling like relaxing I'm a big fan of live concerts from Journey, to Metallica, Daughtry and even Fall Out Boy, if it has a good beat I'm in!My co-workers including Everett are some of the BEST parts people I know.We are proud to serve our customers and make sure YOU are treated right, feel free to call anytime.

- Parts Consultant
- I'm a Mainer, born and raised in beautiful Hancock, Maine. Like most "Downeasters" I had my experience with the lobster industry with my first job at a lobster pound in high school. After graduation I followed my passion for automobiles and pursued automotive vocational training. Though I loved automobiles I soon learned my preference was working the front end of service instead of the mechanic side. I worked the service side for a little while at various places around Ellsworth and eventually landed a job at a Morrison's Chevrolet.I began as a Service Writer at Morrison's Chevrolet. Morrison's became Darling's about 6 years ago. I moved from Darling's Chevrolet to Darling's Automall becoming a Parts Consultant.During all of this I was introduced to my wonderful wife, Lisa. We have been happily married for 34 years and counting! We have 3 grown children, 3 grandkids and currently 3 cats. Outside the dealership my wife and I take care of 7 rental home in the Hancock area. This takes a good amount of our free time, but when we do have time we explore Maine in our trusted GM and see where the road takes us.One thing I love most about Darling's is how it feels like a family. You wouldn't think the owners of the company would know you by name, but they do. Not only that but they get involved in the community and represent us so well.I'm proud of my Darling's family, anytime you need anything parts related feel free to call me and I'll treat you like a member of the family.

- Everett Dorr
- Parts Counter Person
- I am a proud "Downeaster" born, raised, and staying in extraordinary Ellsworth, Maine. In 1997 I started my career at Darling's as part of the Reconditioning team. Eventually I worked my way from Parts Receiver to Parts Counter Person. It seems like yesterday I started at Darling's, 20 years later I'm proud to say I still LOVE my job. I have an extraordinary team that keeps me laughing everyday, especially James Moore. For the past 14 years I've been a Certified Parts advisor for the GM brand. This is one of the parts of my job I love most because I am able to be trained in the latest GM parts and accessories each year. I take great pride in knowing I have the knowledge to find the perfect and correct part for my customers. I may be a little "GM" eccentric only purchasing GM vehicles. I believe in the quality parts that make up a GM. My current GM is my GMC Terrain, unnamed as of yet. When I'm not in Parts mode I enjoy my time with my family and pets. I'm lucky enough to call my wonderful girlfriend Tricia, her sdaughters, Becca and Stephanie, my little family. One of our favorite activities is hiking beautiful Acadia National Park. I also have two extraordinary pets, a cat named Mouse and a dog named Zeke. Zeke is my "Cow Dog" spotted like a cow and loves to eat grass. My pets and I enjoy watching our favorite Movie Back to the Future or listening to AC DC. I also enjoy biking and traveling, especially Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Recently I joined a bowling league in Brewer to get into shape and have fun with friends. If you're ever stuck wondering what's that part or do I need that part call me anytime.

- Parts Counter Person
- Hello, I am Scott and I have been in the business since I was just a boy. I grew up in Holden where my father had a transmission shop. When I was just a young kid I was always hanging around the shop with the smell of grease and a knack for what's that part called. I always liked working with my hands and took vocational training including building and construction. After my training I still had a love for parts and started working at Carquest Auto Parts in Bangor, Maine. One day about 14 years ago my Mother recommended me to her friend the Parts Manager at Darling's Ellsworth location. I moved to East Orland and began my career as a Parts Counter Person at Darling's. I've proudly become certified as a Parts Advisor for both GM and Chrysler. This means the world to me as I am able to talk parts with customers and better understand their current needs. My life isn't all about parts, as much as I like them, but they did bring some great things to my world. After starting at Darling's a co-worker introduced me to Cindy. Cindy and I married about 7 years ago and I couldn't imagine my life without her. Our world revolves around my step son Hunter, our two dogs Lucy and Dakota and our many chickens. Needless to say we're an animal loving family, in fact our dogs have Dunkin Donut Sunday's where each is allowed 1 glazed donut hole. I'm also an avid certified drone photographer and may be found brushing off my building skills around the area.I try not to talk to much parts talk, but I love what I do. The people I work with, such as Everett Dorr are incredible parts people and that's the Darling's difference. It's not just parts, it's the people behind the parts.Feel free to reach out to me anytime to talk parts, drone photography, or construction and I'll be there!
